Rabeya Bosri
I'm Rabeya Bosri, a graduate student and a graduate teaching assistant at the University of Alberta, under the supervision of Professor Bailey Kacsmar, PUPS: Practical Usable Privacy and Security Lab. I am passionate and research enthusiastic, with a keen interest in user privacy, Machine Learning, and Blockchain. Currently, my focus is prioritising user privacy in Machine Learning by utilizing cryptographic tools.
I have obtained my BSc in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Asia Pacific, Dhaka, Bangladesh. Following graduation, I embarked on my professional journey by joining a startup as an intern. My successful stint there opened doors for me, leading to a role as a Research Assistant at the City University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong.

Exploring new places and capturing moments through photography brings me immense joy. In addition to my love for travel, I'm also passionate about playing badminton and have quite a collection of books, predominantly by Bengali authors, given that it's my mother tongue. Despite my busy schedule, I manage to squeeze in some time for cooking and experimenting with different cuisines. I share my home with two adorable pets.
Admittedly, my enthusiasm for various activities sometimes leads to a humorous predicament – I love doing so many things that it becomes a challenge to excel at any one of them. 😄 If you're interested in glimpses of my adventures, feel free to check out my Instagram for photos and videos!
